The sperm donation process requires individuals to relinquish very personal and sensitive information. If you choose to use this site, you are agreeing to the collection and use of your information. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use this site or its services.

Information Collection

We collect personally identifiable information (PII) from you when register to use this site. Information about you or your activity on our site may automatically be collected and used to improve our site. We use your information for a variety of business purposes, including but not limited to, contacting you about services you requested via social media, email, text, and phone communication. If you receive an email from us, you will be given the option to “unsubscribe,” but this does not preclude us from contacting you about existing or past business relationships with us nor advertising to you on other platforms. Donatesperm.com Account Information

If you apply to become a donor, you will be asked online or over the phone to provide sensitive PII or Protected Health Information (PHI). This information can concern your health, social life, and family-specific information. This information may be collected via email, phone, donor application, or donor portal. We will use this screening information to determine your donor eligibility and shared with potential clients. Disclosure of your health-related information is specially protected under applicable State and Federal law. We will also create a donor profile for xytex.com which will include photographs of yourself, educational background, and other personal information. Your full profile including adult photos of yourself will only be accessible to clients paying for an account on xytex.com or a free trial. Any identifying information is strictly confidential and is never released without written consent.

We are not responsible for the information you volunteer about yourself or choose to make public through interactions on our site or social media that is accessible to other users.

Identity of Donors

We collect personal information that you provide us when you apply to become a donor, sign up to become an ambassador, or reach out to us for more information. While we do not intentionally release PII/PHI of donors without their consent, it is possible that certain information like hair color, eye color, race, ethnic origin, height, weight, pictures, medical history, and other information you submit to us for inclusion in a donor profile on xytex.com could result in persons familiar with recognizing you.

If the birth of a child is reported, then the parent and/or the child may request the donor contact information when the child turns 18. If parents want their children to obtain this information, then they must report the child’s birth to Xytex. If a child, whose birth was reported to Xytex, requests information about the donor’s identity, we will inform the donor about the request. However, we do not release information about the requestor to the donor. In the case that the parent or parents choose not to report the birth, the donor’s identity will not be released to the child.

Identity of Recipients and Offspring

We provide our donor sperm to Xytex sperm bank. Although, we do not release information to donors about the individual recipients of donor sperm or their offspring.

Privacy of Genetic Information

It is our priority to protect your genetic information collected during donor screening. However, we cannot guarantee donor anonymity if you or your relatives use a genealogy or ancestry service.

Minors Policy

To become a donor, one must be at least 18 years of age. No children under the age of 18 should provide any personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that a minor created a donor account on donatesperm.com, we will delete their account and personal information as soon as possible.

Privacy Policy Changes

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time. If you are a donor, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you of privacy policy changes and how they will affect you. With that being said, we encourage you to review our privacy policy periodically to stay informed.
